Process

The following diagram outlines how Downtown Buffalo 2002! is organizing to accomplish the work ahead. It illustrates that all our work flows from an ongoing and completely open review process. Anyone with a stake in our downtown is invited to offer comments, identify priorities, and request additional planning work throughout the process. When there is sufficient consensus achieved through the review process the staff at Downtown Buffalo 2002! will recommend specific planning or project activity to the Mayor, Common Council, and key stakeholders as appropriate. Based on their approval, the implementation campaign will work with lead agencies on the planning and review process as well as with the chief executives responsible for project implementation.
